Weekword=Accord by Helen

So I will completely admit it, this word has me stumped. Maybe I'm not feeling very agreeable lately, maybe it rings of a vague authority with me (and we all know how shitty I am with authority), but I went back to the latin etymology and love that out of it comes the root "cor, core-" meaning heart. Now THAT, I can definitely do!

Thanks for always letting me share my heart here to you dear readers and much thanks to Junebuggy and John for helping me struggle through my "Hurt" post, I do heart you two :)

So here is my post about accord, because at the root of it is heart. This is what I know about heart...

Every moment is precious, and every chance we have to open ourselves up to love and share our hearts with the world is an act of self kindness.

It's worth getting up and going after what you want from the world. Do it right now.

What are you waiting for?

See the world with new eyes as often as you can, it's all around you.

There is no reason to give up fantasy, it's real when we believe.

Indulge in the small things of life and revel in the smallest joys. They are by far of the greatest worth.

So I'm not sure who is the new host, for this week, but I know Sally over at http://thegiftshed.wordpress.com is playing. Maybe I'll get tagged again soon :) Wishing you all a great week and  wish me luck in the start of a new semester tomorrow, it's never free of stress.

  2. Aww Shucks! You mentioned me. :-) I'm sending you warm fuzzies in hope that the start of the semester went well. I really loved some of these images especially the ducky one. The one which stuck in my mind was the heart size growing smaller as the people got bigger. It is so very true. Fantastic representation. Although I must admit my heart felt like it was getting smaller and smaller until I adopted Phi. Now when I cuddle her in my arms I feel like my heart is growing so large it might burst out of my chest and explode throughout the room.
