Missed again! Too much fun

These are old pictures, but the same spot I spent all of Saturday at-well, most of it that kept me from posting :) Hubby man and I went out to our favorite winery, Cooper Vineyards, in Amador County with our soon-to-be not neighbors for a wine pick-up and a little lunch. It was so crazy busy with the crowds, it was pretty tough to get a spot on the bar for tasting, but I'm pretty good at throwing elbows when I need to ;) We also hit up a few other spots and I bought way too much wine, but what a fun day of splurging! After coming home and having a dinner of fresh octopus and poki salad (raw tuna and seaweed), we headed home and crashed before I could post. 

Today, I got a chance to explore Apple Hill with one of my girlfriends and wander through the foothills  and taste wonderful apples and dream in fall colors. 

Bought a wonderful apple pie to bring home and bake. I'm eating it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner tomorrow!

Picked up a few different types of apple, Arkansas Blacks, Rome Beauties, Matsu's, Granny Smith, Fujis, and Winesaps

Great weekend of enjoying local fare and excursions!
