Feeling so frustrated right now that I feel like I can't share what's going on in my life right now with family crisis stuff. I'm trying to recognize that there are people I absolutely love that feel differently than I do about privacy and expression of personal information in a public forum like a blog. It's important to me that that I respect their needs and be mindful of how difficult things are for them right now, but it's not easy. This place is where I try to share my thoughts and concerns and interests because taking the whole pile of emotions out of my head helps me analyze myself with a little distance. For now, I'll just go to my handwritten journal to brain dump a little :)
Okay on to List it Tuesday.
We are in a position this year where we really can't afford to do anything for gifts other than make them, which is fun, but I just can't seem to find the time to get it all done! So today's super quick list is just a few things I can do for gifts-let's see if I can get at least one of these crossed off today! Check in with Aimee (She turned 40 today-Happy Birthday Aims!!) at Artsyville if you're a list maker like me, and share your style.
Wishing you all a great day!

((hugs)) for whatever is going on IRL. I often find myself torn because my blog is where I can (albeit publicly) figure things out but keeping some privacy. Sigh. Good luck with making some goody gifts. I bet they will be awesome.
ReplyDeletei would like some soap please. i love soap. and thanks for your very sweet comment.
ReplyDeleteLooks like some cool gifts are being made. Sorry about the frustration ... it's a tricky sort of balance !

Blessings to you and yours, may your Christmas gifts be the wonderful realization of your dreams.
ReplyDeletecookies are always a winner as a christmas gift! i make a ton every year.
ReplyDeleteSoap and cookies are both good. Just don't mix up the recipes!
ReplyDeleteWhat great gifts those will be! Love the soap (not the opera kind) - I've always wanted to learn how to make soap. Thx for your kind comment, too :)
ReplyDeletetwo winning gifts! If you stick with cookies, you can make them all in one night! {:-D
ReplyDeleteCOOKIES. Guaranteed to take your mind off of whatever sucks right now. Especially when you make an extra batch for yourself. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks all for the kind words! The cookies got all finished, and thankfully I finished the soap a few months ago since it takes 8 weeks to cure, but still got a bit left to do. Hope everyone's holiday lists are more fun than mine :)
ReplyDeletePersonally, I love consumable gifts like cookies and soap. Both are winners in my book!
